Jack-O-Lantern Class @ the Artifactory!

Fall is finally here, and it's time to start rolling out the fun classes for the holidays! This next Sunday, September 27 from 2-4pm we will be creating this fun vintage style jack-o-lantern here @the_artifactory. Height is 15" tall by 14" wide. We will be doing lots of painting, waxing and distressing. The stem is topped off with a vintage wooden ruler and twirled jute. Indian Summer Dream Catcher @the_artifactory!

Dream Catcher Class @the_artifactory on Sunday, July 26 from 2-4pm. $45 Come celebrate the beautiful colors and texture of an Indian Summer. We will be using lots of fabric, beautiful turkey feathers and unique vintage doilies. Every one will be unique. Overall dimensions are 3 ft tall X 1 ft wide so it is pretty substantial in size and will be a great statement piece. If you prefer to do it in all neutrals, please state that at time of reservation. Paper Quilting on Canvas Class

Paper Quilting on Canvas at the Artifactory on Sunday, July 5th from 2-4. If you like vivid colors and lots of patterns, then this class is for you! Created on a 16x20 canvas, we will be cutting, folding and sewing lots of wonderful buttons, pinbacks, bingo/lotto game pieces etc to make these works of art that are truly unique! $45 includes all materials and instruction. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest..."

Tart Tin Class @the_artifactory on Sunday, April 19th from 2-4pm. If you are a lover of vintage, you are going to LOVE this class! You will embellish 6 tart tins to hang from the wooden hanger. 99% of the materials are vintage. Some of the vintage goodies include 6 Swedish tart tins, skeleton keys from an early 1900's boys home, gorgeous millinery, flocked wallpaper, a glass chandelier crystal and tons of beautiful buttons. Due to the unique materials, class size is limited to 12. $65 includes all materials and class instruction. Rolled Wreath Class on April 16th!!

Duct Tape Wallets...too cool for School!!!

This class is going to be great for all the cool kids! Beau is a 5th Grader who will be teaching this just for you! Not only will he teach you how to create your very own crazy cool wallet, you will receive all the materials to make more in the future! $40 includes instruction and your very own cutting board with measurements and a cutting tool. Artifactory opens January 31st!

I have had a dream my entire life to share my art and ideas with the world.  Thanks to my parents, family and friends, I am delighted to say that it has actually come to be!  This Saturday, January 31st, we officially open the doors to the public.

Artifactory is a magical place to create art embracing the past. Filled with lots of vintage goodies and unique finds, you will be inspired.  The Artifactory is the perfect home for my creations, as I always incorporate vintage materials into my work.   CurlyQMosaics is what I am known for.  Windows, calendars, and mixed media pieces are what I create.  Every single piece has a history and story all of its own.

In addition to the wonderful wares, I will be offering art classes! Inviting customers into my creative world, I will walk you through many wonderful creations that you can make and cherish forever. Incorporating tons of one-of-a-kind vintage ephemera, these will definitely be unique and coveted by many.
